The department of Computer Science was started in 1998 with B.Sc. Computer Science. In 2006, Shift-II was started, and Tamil medium course also started in the year 2013. It was elevated as a Post graduate department in the year 2010 offering M.Sc. Computer Science. M.Phil.

Computer science was introduced in the year 2015.Our department is focusing on training the students to work in various organizations jobs and enhancing the skills of the students to meet the demands of the corporate sectors. Practical Training in programming language given to students to enhance the skills in developing projects.

Department of Computer Science won the overall championship trophy in the sports meet in the year 2019 and 2021.Technical symposium was conducted for every year.Our Alumnae are working in various government & private sectors.
